Ideas is our new way to receive and listen to our Customers and Partners suggestions and feature requests in BOARD. Please follow the following structure to submit an idea, so to make sure our R&D department and our CTO have all the elements to understand the context, use and application of the new feature.
1. What is your idea?
Example: Apply Freeze Panes feature to BOARD Dataviews. Define a section of the Dataview that will be kept still and unmoved when scrolling rows or columns
2. What specific problem are you trying to find a solution to, or what new scenario would this idea respond to?
Example:
- Improve scrolling and navigation features of dataviews
- Allow end user features that improve end user autonomy
- allow locking of "panes" after any infocube block instead of row and columns header only
- reduce time spent to search and compare information part of the same dataview
3. What workaround have you found and used so far (if any)?
Example: i currently extract the dataview in excel and use MS Excel functionality
4. What is your role in your organization?
Example: I'm the Business Analyst, responsible for Customer reports and trend analysis
